Mindfulness Training
Rejuvenate your life - No batteries required!
Johannesburg 19th - 22nd August 2010Â
the heads
start their thinking
and egos start stinking
agendas start cranking
our rivers start bending
our ways stop their mending
our minds start their spending
of time on what might be
instead of what is
~ zen koan
This Mindfulness Training workshop is an opportunity for self-reflection through challenging general and accepted rationalizations of daily life. It is more difficult to trust that something useful, meaningful and purposive can come from allowing not-knowing.
Albert Einstein said, “I never came upon any of my discoveries through the process of rational thinking.” Kekule conceptualized the structure of the benzene molecule through a dream.
This approach does not invalidate the rational struggle that ensues when working with difficulties of dilemmas; it proposes that there is so much more to human ability and creativity in finding ways forward.
Whether you have already reflected and “worked through stuff” or not, this workshop offers something for each individual who would like further self-learning around well-being. This workshop experience is about a moment of being.
